The Animal Relentless Bike Tour came to Gloucester a couple of weeks ago. This was a perfect time for some photos!

I thought as I haven't posted anything for a while i would post some experimentation i have done with a picture of my gorgeous friend Lucy.

I Wanted to see how bad i could make someone look.

I'm sorry Lucy. But if it makes you feel any better it was really hard to do.

Landscape From Wales

Recently, I went to South Wales which is a beautiful place so the second i got there i had to take photos of the view.

I don't know if you can see these pictures that well but all of them we taken on the move with my phone.

Landscape pictures are so easy to get looking nice if you know what to look for. The two main things are; Look for the horizontal line that stand out most (Example : The horizon) and put that either a third up the picture or a third down the picture. The second thing is make sure you either have a full border or none at all. A border can just be a tree or a wall on one side that dominated that side but make sure if you have something on one side taking up a lot of space there isn't much going on on the other side so it draws the eye away from that part. Taking a really good landscape picture is making sure you have an even spread of interesting things in the picture and don't confine them to one side.

Pop Art-ish

I like things bright and colourful so this set of pictures have to be one of my favourite i have done.

Originally i just wanted to find some pictures and make them cartoony. Then when i had done that i thought these pictures need some more so i coloured them in with gradient and added shadow and a simple background to keep focus on the person in the picture and what they are doing.

I might do more in this style depending on if people like them and if i can find more photos that could be made like this. It took me ages to find these photos and i know i will struggle to take more. Maybe i will get some people to model so i can get the perfect photos!

Very First Post!

It's good when everything finally comes together. After working on this Blog to make it look rather nice, I can now see it starting to get there! I might change some of the colours and i really want to find out how to get the box behind my title away. But all in good time, all in good time.

On this Blog i am going to post my passions! The two main passions of mine are Music and Photography! So expect to see some of my favourite work here and watch as i improve as time goes by.
